These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Groundwork LLC ("Groundwork," "we," "us") for your use of the Groundwork Fi app and this website (together, the "Service").

Acceptance

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old to use it.

The service

Groundwork Fi helps you see your financial picture in one place, set goals, follow a suggested order of financial steps, learn from curated outside content, and connect with a community. Features may change over time as we improve the Service.

Not financial advice

Groundwork provides educational tools and general information only. Nothing in the Service is investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice, and Groundwork is not a registered investment adviser, broker dealer, or financial planner. Guidance from the app, including the AI guide, is general in nature and may not fit your situation. Please talk with a qualified professional before making important financial decisions. You are responsible for the decisions you make.

Accounts

You agree to give accurate information and to keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Let us know right away if you think someone has accessed it without permission. You can delete your account at any time in the app.

Subscriptions and free trials

Some features require a paid subscription, offered monthly or yearly, with a free trial. Subscriptions are purchased and billed through Apple in app purchase, under Apple's terms. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of a trial or billing period, your subscription renews automatically. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. That includes not breaking the law, not harassing or misleading other members of the community, not posting content you do not have the right to share, not attempting to access other people's data, and not interfering with or reverse engineering the Service.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, and software, belongs to Groundwork LLC or its licensors. You keep ownership of the content you post, and you give us a limited license to display it within the Service so it can work as intended. Outside content in the Learn library belongs to its original creators.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that it will be error free or uninterrupted, or that information from connected accounts or outside sources will always be accurate or complete.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Groundwork LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any financial losses arising from decisions you make using the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
